Students may choose an intensive, full day program that covers all subjects, or a half day program that only covers reading/writing or math.

What to Expect
Prepare for the 2026 admissions season with our intensive SAT Summer Prep Camp. This summer camp provides up to 140 hours of instruction in all SSAT subjects. At the end of the camp, your child will be ready to ace the SSAT.
Ages
Best for students entering 11th or 12th grade. Younger students will be accepted if they have completed algebra 2.

While students are being dropped off, students get ready to learn through a fun, game-show-style activity featuring reading/writing questions that review all concepts covered so far in class.

We will learn how to answer a category of SAT reading/writing question (ex. rhetorical synthesis, vocabulary in context, etc.), working through questions as a group and explaining our thought processes.

Students compete in teams in answer timed reading/writing questions, practicing the concept learned earlier in class.

Students will independently practice SAT Reading/Writing questions relevant to the topic of the day. The instructor will provide help to students who need additional support.

Lunch break. Students may choose to bring their own lunch and eat at the classroom under instructor supervision. Students may also choose to eat in downtown Portsmouth without instructor supervision. Students in the afternoon class are responsible for returning before the class starts.

We will introduce a math topic on the SAT (ex. exponents, functions, etc.), learn the fundamentals, and then explore how to apply it to increasingly more difficult questions.

Students will learn to maximize use of the DESMOS SAT calculator for the math topic of the day

Students will independently practice SAT math questions relevant to the topic of the day. The instructor will provide help to students who need additional support.

The camp is led by Christine Pu, who has an Ph.D. in civil and environmental engineering from Princeton University. She has 6 years of teaching experience.

The camp is designed to complete all practice questions during camp hours. Vocabulary flashcards may be recommended to practice for the synonym section outside of camp hours.

Water and simple snacks (fruit snacks, pretzels, or similar) will be provided. Please let us know if there are any food allergies.
Lunch is not provided. Students may bring their lunch and eat in the classroom (under instructor supervision) or may eat lunch in downtown Portsmouth (without instructor supervision) during the lunch break. -
This camp has a minimum of 4 students. Payment is not accepted until at least 4 students are registered. Cancellation is allowed at any point before payment is made. Once 4 students are registered, payment is requested within 2 weeks. After payment is made, refunds are not offered.

While we encourage full attendance, students who miss a session will receive a guided packet covering the material they missed. Optionally, they can sign up for private tutoring with the instructor to learn what was covered on the day they missed.

Yes! There is a $50 referral discount for both you and the person you refer if they sign up. Referral discounts are cumulative, so if you refer 5 people that register, you will receive $250 off your tuition while each person you referred will receive $50 off!
